A French Napoleon III rosewood antique mantel clock with boxwood marquetry leaf inlay and double boxwood string inlay on the case. The case has a bronze gilt carrying handle with a movement viewing window at the top and a beaded brass bezel with a white enamel dial and Roman numerals.
The movement is a French eight-day duration with silk suspension and an outside count wheel, and it strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.
The movement, back plate, and dial have the maker’s name.

Condition – The only fault is the enamel dial has slight damage, and a foot has been replaced.
