Please be careful when bidding; make sure you get all the information you require about the item from the vendor before you place your bid. Once you have placed your bid, you cannot retract the bid. All auctions last for 30 days unless the vendor removes the item for whatever reason. [Sold elsewhere, changed their mind, someone offered them the price they wanted.] You can email the vendor and say you have changed your mind.

Instead of bidding for an item you like, you can make direct offers to the vendor and deal directly with him. If you are successful and he accepts your offer, you deal with him by whichever means you both agree on.
